A Child of God

A child came to them by God's hand
A beautiful boy who would become a man
They would give him all the love they could
But heaven needed him, and he understood
An angel now waits for us up above
A miracle of innocence and true eternal love
Cody's never alone, he laughs with joy
For they shared their very own, and gave God a boy
